What is Zoning? Zoning is a legal tools used by the County to guide, at a broad level, development within its jurisdiction.

Why Is Zoning Important? The Zoning District that your property is in will determine the types of construction and use that will be allowed on your property.  So determining your zoning district is an important preliminary step on the road to changing anything (e.g structures) about your property.

What Help is Available? The Zoning of your property greatly affects what you can, and cannot do on your property.  To help you find out what your property's zoning is and what the zoning will allow you to do on your property, use the Find My Zoning page.
